We are looking for a childcare worker at the Cultural Preschool Flying Dragon.

The preschool is centrally located in Sandviken and is part of the cultural center where the library, art hall, Trampoline, and Culture School are also located. The preschool consists of 7 departments for children aged 1-5 years. We work thematically with aesthetic learning processes as a basis for learning and development according to the preschool curriculum. Here we are curious preschool teachers, childcare workers, and teachers who, together with a drama pedagogue, challenge the children in their learning. Together with the children, we create a creative, imaginative, and dynamic teaching that stimulates lifelong learning. In our spacious premises, we have good conditions for play, creation, dance, music, and drama. This allows us to offer a stimulating employment in a dynamic environment! The preschool has organized conditions for reflection, collegial exchange, and pedagogical development time.
We have access to pedagogical guidance and deepening from a special educator and quality developer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will, together with preschool teachers, open a younger children's department. This department will exist during the spring term of 2026.

A little better every day! In daily work, pedagogical documentation and reflection are a natural part, to systematically ensure the quality of the operations. In the work at preschool, the intentions of the curriculum are implemented, which becomes clear in the teaching with the children. Together with the work team, you will start from the children's interests, curiosity, and initiatives and translate that into goal-oriented processes where the children's learning is in focus.

Have fun along the way! Reading and storytelling will play a large part in your teaching with the children. The children's influence and participation play a central role in the work, which means that you, together with the children and colleagues, reflect and analyze learning processes, working methods, and the educators' approaches. In your approach, you dare to try new methods and tools together with children and colleagues.

We make each other good! We see personal development as an important part of the preschool's development area, to inspire and be inspired by colleagues. There is also the opportunity to apply together with a colleague, where you both have the chance for employment with us!

QUALIFICATIONS

• You are a trained and engaged childcare worker who wants to embark on exciting and playful adventures together with children and colleagues every day.
• You want a creative workplace where laughter with children and colleagues is part of everyday life.
• You should be a co-researching educator with a child focus, who can challenge the children in everyday life through play and imagination.
• You are a childcare worker who will utilize all children's competencies and use different approaches to achieve the goals set by the governing documents.
• You are familiar with the preschool's governing documents.
• You have knowledge of pedagogical documentation and use the computer as a pedagogical tool in daily work.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability and your experience.
