Your Mission
As the team leader for Fritidsbanken, you are responsible for the daily operations of Fritidsbanken's activities.
The mission includes work at strategic, administrative, and operational levels with a focus on ensuring an accessible, inclusive, and well-functioning operation throughout the municipality. In this role, you report to the site manager for Fritidsbanken and work closely with colleagues in the Sports and Recreation Unit as well as other relevant stakeholders.
The work involves planning, coordinating, and leading the daily operations in Fritidsbanken's store, where service to borrowers, handling of reused sports and recreational equipment, and order and structure in the operation are central parts. You are also an active part of Fritidsbanken's core mission through collection, sorting, reuse, and lending of equipment, ensuring that the operation is conducted according to established routines and goals.
As a team leader, you are also responsible for planning and implementing Fritidsbanken's outreach activities, aimed at strengthening accessibility, inclusion, and geographical presence. Through physical activity and movement, the operation contributes to more people and target groups having the opportunity for an active leisure time, improved health, and increased well-being. The work encompasses the entire process from planning and logistics to execution, follow-up, and some administration.
The role includes collaborating with local associations, civil society, public administration, and business, as well as contributing to joint planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the Sports and Recreation Unit's mission and activities. The work is carried out both independently and in collaboration with others, requiring a good ability to take responsibility, create structure, and build relationships.
The position involves work both in Fritidsbanken's store and at outreach activities throughout the municipality. Evening and weekend work may occur.
Description of the Workplace
In the Community Service sector, the activities and competencies that have the greatest impact on actively promoting sustainable community development, representing the municipality's technical expertise, and developing good living environments are gathered. Internal service, citizen service, and operational community building are the areas of activity within the sector. Here, over 800 employees work with, for example, food services, cleaning, staffing, car pools, sports and recreation, customer service, authority operations, detailed planning, and project offices.
Your Competence
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education related to leisure, wellness, public health, sports, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

We are looking for someone who;
- is interested in sports and recreational activities as well as people's well-being and health development.
- has good organizational skills and the ability and knowledge to perform simple repairs of sports and recreational equipment.
- enjoys working flexibly and independently.
- has social competence and a good approach.
- can take initiative, organize, and plan their time, which is fundamental to the work.
A driving license (B) is a requirement, as well as experience in towing a trailer. It is also important that you can express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
