The short-term accommodation Koalan is located in Bergsjö, where we work with children and youth under LSS (the Act on Support and Service).

The purpose of the short-term stay service is to provide the child or youth with a change of environment and the opportunity for creative development, while also giving the guardians relief and rest. When the child or youth is on a short-term stay, they can continue with their daily activities in childcare, school, short-term supervision, or daily activities. Short-term stays can be offered as a regular recurring service as well as a solution in acute situations.

We operate 24/7 and work in 3 shifts (day, evening, and night). We are now looking for 1-3 staff, 60-80%. A 6-month employment starting 26-02-01 or by agreement, with the possibility of extension.

Your Mission

To provide children with special needs with safety and personal care. Certain daily tasks are included in your work. The focus is on the child's needs.

Your Qualifications

You have completed a care education or another education that the employer deems equivalent. A driver's license (B) is a requirement. We are looking for someone who is attentive, creative, and responsible. You have a pedagogical and motivating approach towards the individual and the ability to work with the individual's needs in focus.

Meritorious

Experience working with children and youth with disabilities under LSS is meritorious. It is also an advantage if you know sign language and/or can work with support signs.
