Your Mission

We are now looking for a new employee for our operations in the area of labor market measures to offer interventions and support to our residents on their path to work, studies, or other suitable measures. Perhaps you currently work at the employment agency, with an independent actor, or at another workplace where you come into contact with our target group.

We have a particular focus on those who receive social assistance and who are far from the labor market. We also run projects and collaborate with other operations to offer targeted measures to our participants.

Within the unit, we work with a variety of activities at both the individual and group level for people aged 16-66 who are outside the labor market. The tasks may vary over time based on assignments and needs within the operation and the labor market. We work development-oriented and change-oriented to adapt to the needs and demands of the outside world.

The work includes supporting, activating, and guiding individuals both individually and sometimes in groups, as well as following up and documenting their development. Our mission encompasses everything from mapping and coaching, individual conversations focusing on progression, to both pre-rehabilitative activities and job-seeking activities, as well as arranging various types of internships, created employment, and work training places for different target groups. Nordanstig municipality has a developed working method with our social enterprises.

The assignment may also involve assessing the work capacity of unemployed individuals to investigate their conditions in the labor market and thus find paths to self-sufficiency.

We continuously plan, develop, and evaluate the operation. An important part of the work is collaboration, both internally within the municipality and externally with authorities such as the employment agency, social insurance agency, and Region Gävleborg, civil society, and the private sector, and you will thus be a face for the unit and the municipality. In other words, it is a broad and varied assignment, so it is important that you are flexible and enjoy changes.

Your Qualifications

You should have relevant education for the position, perhaps in study and career guidance, rehabilitation science, labor science, human resources, behavioral science, pedagogy, occupational therapy, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have broad knowledge and experience in the field and are used to working with people with physical and/or mental disabilities. You are also well acquainted and comfortable with documentation in operational systems. You have a B driver's license.

Personal Characteristics

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and can also work independently. You are confident in individual conversations with participants as well as in leading group activities. You are good at networking and establishing new contacts and creating relationships with various partners and navigating Sweden's welfare system. Your working method is characterized by structure and clarity, and you have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You need to have the mindset about human development and finding solutions with chains as well as parallel measures for each person's needs.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

It is meritorious for the position if you have education in and experience of project work and competencies such as MI, BIP, 7Tjugo, solution focus, or SE.

Other

We offer a wellness allowance of 2,000 SEK per year, the possibility of vacation exchange, and when work allows, to some extent work from home.
