Smassens preschool is located in the Western preschool area of Sandviken municipality. The preschool has eight departments for children aged 1-5 years. The preschool is close to green areas and the library of Björksätraskolan. The preschool has organized conditions for reflection, collegial exchange, and pedagogical development time. We have access to pedagogical guidance and deepening of special education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to make a difference in children's development and be part of an engaged community? Here you have the chance to create a safe and educational environment where children can grow and develop. We are looking for a preschool assistant for a temporary position from March to July.

Your mission In this role, you will collaborate with two preschool teachers who lead the pedagogical work in the department. Together, you will design an education that is enjoyable, educational, and fun for each child.

You will actively participate in and drive the pedagogical development work and the pedagogical documentation according to the preschool curriculum. You will participate in planning and evaluating the work.

You will contribute to creating a positive, meaningful, and developing environment for each child in the preschool. Every child should receive what every child has the right to - an education that is equitable and of good quality in a safe environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You are a trained and engaged preschool assistant who wants to embark on exciting and playful discovery journeys together with children and colleagues every day.
• You want a creative workplace where laughter with children and colleagues is part of everyday life.
• You should be a co-researching educator with a child focus, who can challenge children in everyday life through play and imagination.
• You are a preschool assistant who will utilize all children's competencies and use different approaches to achieve the goals set by the governing documents.
• You are familiar with the preschool's governing documents and have knowledge and interest in developing education through pedagogical documentation.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
