We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher for grades 1-3 primarily, and secondarily with good experience and qualifications as a teacher in lower grades.

This is a temporary position as a class teacher starting immediately in January 2026 and lasting until the summer break of 2026 in the first instance.

About our school:

Söderhamn's free school and after-school care is located in Vågbro a few kilometers from Söderhamn's center, close to both nature and transportation.

The school consists of approximately 85 students and about 25 staff. We are a F-6 school (but have ambitions to become an F-9 school in the future).

At our school and after-school care, there is a high ceiling and management is present. We are all a team that helps improve areas that can be better. Work environment and staff care are important to us.

Role description: Class teacher who plans teaching based on the curriculum, follows up, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses and documents students' knowledge development.

Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that contributes to students' goal fulfillment and knowledge development and building a good relationship with the student and their guardians is important. Also, actively participating in the collegial and systematic quality work at the school.

It is important that you are attentive and humble as good collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians is essential.

Interviews will begin during the Christmas break, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
