Lilla Sätraskolan belongs to the Sätra principal area, which is a growing and multicultural area. In our schools, students from different cultures meet and learn from each other. Lilla Sätraskolan is located near fantastic outdoor environments and approximately 300 students in grades 3-5 attend the school. We are now looking for an engaged teacher with qualifications to teach in the after-school program. Warm welcome with your application!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you attracted to creating an inspiring environment where students receive valuable activities? Do you want to contribute to students' development and creativity? Great! Then you might be the after-school teacher we are looking for at Lilla Sätraskolan!

You will be responsible for planning and teaching in the after-school program. The work also includes implementing and evaluating the activities according to decided goals and guidelines. Together with your colleagues, you will help create a school where everyone feels safe and seen as students, guardians, and staff. The work is carried out in collaboration with other educators, student health, and guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with qualifications to teach in the after-school program. You are familiar with and knowledgeable about the curriculum for primary school as well as for preschool and after-school programs, something you maintain in your work. Since a large part of the teaching/planning takes place digitally, it is required that you have good knowledge of working with digital tools. You have the ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in social contexts and is skilled at creating trusting relationships. You have a talent for leading and motivating students and making them feel comfortable and well within the school environment. Furthermore, you are good at creating an open dialogue and adapting your language according to the situation. You have a good ability to make students feel safe, a sense of belonging, and included.

In this role, it is important that you work in a structured manner and plan your work well. You are good at prioritizing and using resources to achieve results in the best possible way. As a person, you are curious and open to new solutions and see opportunities in changes. In your collaboration with others, you have an unpretentious approach. Quality, responsiveness, and collaboration are the most important success factors in Gävle municipality's shared value base. For you, it is natural to base your interactions on this value base when meeting students, guardians, and colleagues at the workplace.

You as a final candidate must be able to present a criminal record from the police for work within schools or preschools. This should not be attached to your application.
