The Children and Education Committee in Hofors municipality consists of about 1645 children and students and 300 permanent employees. We are looking for someone who is eager to be a part of our primary school activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for substitutes for the municipality's primary schools. Working with children and youth is fun, developing, and meaningful, but it can also be challenging. It requires personal maturity, such as being able to remain calm even in critical situations, helping children handle setbacks and conflicts, and respecting children's integrity.

We expect you to be able to lead a class, from preschool to grade 9; it is not a requirement to want to be everywhere, so please highlight in your application which grades you prefer to work with. There is also work in after-school care.

QUALIFICATIONS

The basic requirement is that you have completed upper secondary education. It is advantageous if you have attended the Child and Leisure Program or have started a teacher education.

We would like you to be multilingual, but it is a requirement to understand and be able to communicate verbally in Swedish. You should be able to communicate in Swedish with the youngest children in primary school and on the phone with adults.

To work as a substitute in primary school, it is important that you have a good ability to collaborate and are calm and attentive in your approach. You take responsibility and have the ability to make decisions based on well-founded considerations and priorities.

Before employment, a valid extract from the criminal record must be presented.
