Our School
In Sandviken's municipal primary schools, we work in a culture where collaboration and systematic quality work go hand in hand. Here, a safe and supportive environment with high expectations is created, giving students good opportunities to achieve their goals. Digital development has long been a natural part of our operations, and every student has access to their own computer as support in teaching. Our shared value system and an organization with short decision-making paths contribute to participation, clarity, and good opportunities for development.
Gullhed School is a grades 1-6 school with an after-school program and currently has just over 230 students. The school is located in the center of Järbo and is close to the library, the forest, a football pitch, and an ice hockey rink. The school focuses on the importance of movement and has a beautiful schoolyard that offers and invites movement. There are several types of activity tracks and planned break activities led by the school's educators.

Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a special teacher who can easily capture students' curiosity and desire to learn, and who has the ability to build good relationships. As a special teacher, you work closely with students and teachers to increase goal achievement. You use pedagogical strategies to meet students' needs and strengthen their knowledge acquisition.
You contribute by:
- Teaching students individually and in small groups
- Conducting assessments and screenings together with the student health team
- Monitoring students' development towards goals and analyzing teaching
- Collaborating with the deputy principal in the systematic quality work
- Building good relationships with students and colleagues

- Sharing knowledge and experiences within the team
- Working together for the best interests of the students
- Supporting each other in the development of teaching
Qualifications
To succeed in the role of a special teacher, it is important to have pedagogical insight and an understanding of how people learn and the various conditions that exist. The role requires flexibility and the ability to see opportunities in changes. Close collaboration with colleagues is central, as is the ability to analyze and solve complex pedagogical challenges.
We are looking for someone who has a genuine commitment to student learning and enjoys working in a team. The ability to create good relationships and communicate in an attentive manner is crucial. You also need an analytical eye to identify needs and develop solutions that strengthen teaching.
For the assignment, the following is required:
- Special teacher license (Speciallärarlegitimation)
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Good knowledge of the primary school's governing documents
Meritorious: Good digital competence and experience using digital tools.
