Teacher in Modern Languages - Spanish

International English School Gävle is now seeking a licensed teacher in modern languages Spanish who wants to make a difference for our students in their development and learning.

Qualifications

As a Spanish teacher with us, you will plan and conduct teaching that inspires a love of learning. You will create a safe and inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to develop based on their individual circumstances. You will work closely with colleagues and actively contribute to the school's pedagogical development.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a Swedish teaching license with authorization to teach modern languages Spanish
• is confident in your leadership
• creates inspiring teaching and safety in your student groups
• can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and English
• is motivated by seeing students develop and succeed
• has a good demeanor and a strong ability to establish and develop relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• enjoys collaborating and contributing to a positive work environment

About the Role

As a Spanish teacher, you will among other things:

• work towards a stimulating classroom environment for effective teaching and learning
• plan and conduct teaching
• maintain the school's positive ethos and values, both in and out of the classroom
• communicate with guardians about students' development, progress, and performance
• follow up and document students' knowledge development
• provide mentorship for students
