Do you want to help educate the forestry technicians of the future?
We are now looking for a dedicated and structured teacher for the vocational higher education program in Forestry Technology.

With us, you will have a varied role where teaching is combined with mentorship, administration, and close collaboration with the industry.
You will be an important part of developing and implementing the education together with colleagues and industry representatives. In this role, you will meet students at various stages of their education and contribute to their development – both during their studies and in preparation for their future careers.

Responsibilities

The position includes, among other things:

• Teaching in the courses Economics – Forestry Entrepreneur and Economics – Organization and Leadership.
• Mentorship and support for students throughout their education.
• Internship coordination (LIA), including contact with companies and supervisors.
• Administration related to the education.
• Contacts and collaboration with authorities and other external actors.
• Monitoring of student progress and results.

The work involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with the education leader, colleagues, and representatives from the forestry industry.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant university or vocational higher education in economics, entrepreneurship, leadership, or another area deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Has a good ability to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching.
• Has good administrative skills and can work in a structured manner.
• Is adept at creating contacts and collaborating with both students, colleagues, and external actors.
• Has good communication skills in both speech and writing.
• Has a teaching license.
