In Sandviken's municipal primary schools, we work in a culture where collaboration and systematic quality work go hand in hand. Murgårdsskolan is centrally located in Sandviken and is close to most things, including nature. Göransson Arena, Ferrum Arena, and Parkbadet are within walking distance. For the 26/27 school year, Murgårdsskolan will be a 3-9 school, with approximately 300 students in grades 3-6.

The school has many different nationalities represented.

• Class teacher grades 4-6
• Music grades 4-6
• Special education group
• Special teacher

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Murgårdsskolan, we have a well-functioning team collaboration and pedagogical development work. The pedagogical development work is partly led by the school's lead teachers and is based on teaching with the students in focus. We strive for an inclusive workplace where everyone should feel part of our community.

As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching according to the school's governing documents. In this collective advertisement, we are looking for several roles, and here follows a brief description of the assignments.

As a class teacher in grades 4-6, you plan and implement teaching in several subjects and differentiate the teaching so that all students receive support and challenge at their level. The position includes mentorship.

As a music teacher, you teach students in grades 4-6 in the school's music room, and the teaching takes place in half-class groups. The position includes shared mentorship for one of the classes.

In the role of teacher in the special education group, you work with a smaller group of students where structure, clarity, and relationship-building are central. You create a safe learning environment and adapt the teaching to each student's needs.

In the assignment as a special teacher, you work with targeted support for students at both the individual and group levels. The assignment includes close collaboration with other special teachers at the school, teaching teachers, and student health to find methods that create good conditions for students' learning. The position includes shared mentorship for one of the classes.

You contribute by:

• Stimulating students' development and learning based on their individual needs
• Creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• Being a clear and safe role model for the students
• Actively working for an inclusive and safe school environment
• Collaborating in the team to develop teaching

• Working with the student at the center

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, you need to have good pedagogical insight and understand how students absorb knowledge in different ways. You have an easy time creating trusting relationships and contribute to a safe and accessible learning environment. Sensitivity and the ability to collaborate are important qualities in the collegial work, where teaching is developed together. A structured approach facilitates planning and follow-up, while flexibility allows you to handle changing needs and see opportunities in new situations. An inclusive approach permeates your work and creates good conditions for all students.

The following is required for the assignment:

• Teacher certification with relevant qualifications
• Special teacher certification (applies to the special teacher position)
• Good knowledge of the governing documents of primary school
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Good IT skills and experience in using digital tools are meritorious.
