In Sandviken's municipal primary schools, we work in a culture where collaboration and systematic quality work go hand in hand. Murgårdsskolan is centrally located in Sandviken and is close to most amenities, including nature. Göransson Arena, Ferrum Arena, and Parkbadet are within walking distance. For the school year 26/27, Murgårdsskolan will be a 3-9 school, with approximately 300 students in grades 7-9.

The school has many different nationalities represented.

• Home and Consumer Studies (combined with another subject for full-time)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in grades 7-9 and become an important part of creating an education where students' development is at the center. In this collective advertisement, we are looking for several roles, and here is a brief description of what the assignment entails within each subject area.

As a teacher in mathematics and science subjects, you will work to strengthen students' mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and understanding of technical and scientific connections. Teaching alternates between theory, laboratory work, and practical exercises.

In the role of textile crafts teacher, you will lead creative and practical work processes where students explore materials, techniques, and design. You will guide and support students throughout the entire creative process and be responsible for a safe and secure working environment.

Teacher in Spanish and Art. In the Spanish subject, you will work to strengthen students' language confidence and communicative ability. You will use a varied approach to spark students' interest in language, culture, and the world around them. In the Art subject, you will work to develop students' creativity, joy of creation, and aesthetic expression.

Teacher in Spanish and English. As a language teacher, you will work to develop students' ability to communicate, understand, and interact in both spoken and written language.

In the role of special education teacher, you will provide targeted support to students individually and in groups. The assignment includes close collaboration with other special education teachers at the school, teaching staff, and student health services to find methods that create good conditions for students' learning.

As a teacher in home and consumer studies, you will work to develop students' ability to make well-informed decisions regarding economy, health, and sustainable consumption. You will use a varied approach to provide students with practical and theoretical knowledge about food, health, economy, and the environment.

You contribute by:

• Creating teaching based on students' needs
• Being a clear leader and role model in the classroom
• Building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• Actively participating in the school's development work within digitalization, values, and language development

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, you need to have good pedagogical insight and understand how students absorb knowledge in different ways. You adapt teaching based on individual needs and create conditions for learning. A structured approach helps you plan and follow up on teaching clearly and effectively.

Collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. You work attentively with colleagues, share experiences, and contribute to an open climate where teaching develops collectively. In a changing school environment, it is also important to be able to embrace new ideas and methods and to see the opportunities in them. By being development-oriented, you contribute to the school's collective learning.

The following is required for the assignment:

• Teaching certification with relevant qualifications
• Special education certification (for special education positions)
• Good knowledge of the governing documents of primary school
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Good digital competence and experience using digital tools are advantageous.
