Sandviken Municipality's preschools and schools are governed by both national and municipal goals. Each unit follows up and evaluates its activities, conducts a result analysis, and formulates development measures. Hedängskolan F–5 is centrally located in Storvik, close to sports facilities, swimming, and forests. The school has about 250 students and around 35 employees who work together to create a safe and accessible learning environment. Our nature-close location provides good opportunities for varied teaching. With us, we make each other better.

• Physical Education and Health
• Elementary School Teacher

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Physical Education Teacher, you plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in physical education and health and create conditions for safe and varied movement where all students can develop.

In the role of elementary school teacher, you are responsible for teaching in grade 4 and create a structured and accessible learning environment based on clarity and good relationships. Experience or qualification in music is an advantage.

You contribute by:

• Planning and implementing teaching
• Adapting teaching to students' different needs
• Building good relationships in learning environments and creating safety
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop teaching and wholeness
• Creating a good and clear dialogue with guardians

• Supporting each other in both everyday life and development work
• Working openly, inclusively, and with the student's best interests in focus

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive and succeed in the role, it is important to meet students based on their different ways of learning and create an environment where everyone feels safe. By working in a structured way while being attentive, teaching can be adapted to the situation. An open collaboration with colleagues contributes to developing the work together and provides good conditions for students' learning.

The following is required for the position:

• Teaching certification with qualification in physical education and health (for the position as a physical education teacher)
• Teaching certification with elementary school teacher degree and relevant qualification. Experience or qualification to teach music is an advantage (for the position in grade 4)
