Vallhovskolan is a F–3 school with approximately 270 students located in the nature-friendly area of Vallhov. Here, students encounter modern learning environments, where teaching and after-school care work closely together. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an after-school teacher, you will be responsible for the activities in the after-school care, including planning and implementing teaching. The position also includes work in the classroom during school hours based on needs and your subject competence. You will be part of a team together with teachers and preschool teachers.

You contribute by:

• Planning and leading activities that promote students' learning and social development
• Creating a safe and inclusive environment in the after-school care
• Collaborating closely with colleagues to achieve common goals
• Participating in the school's development work

• Supporting each other in change processes
• Having open and respectful collaboration

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, you need to enjoy a varied workday where you switch between teaching and after-school activities. This requires you to be secure and stable even when the pace is high and to maintain focus on what is important. Collaboration is central, as is the ability to communicate in a responsive manner and build good relationships. With pedagogical insight, you adapt teaching to different needs and work systematically to create security and continuity in everyday life.

For the assignment, the following is required:

• After-school teacher degree with teaching certification
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of the primary school's governing documents

Experience with digital tools and good IT skills are advantageous.
