Österfärnebo school is the southernmost school in the municipality, located 42 kilometers south of Sandviken. It is a small and safe school with about 70 students in the countryside. The school's premises house the local library with a librarian. Next to the school is Tallhallen, which is frequently used by the school for not only physical education lessons but also for joint gatherings and activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching according to the school's governing documents. The assignment involves creating an accessible learning environment where students' curiosity and desire to learn are nurtured. In this collective advertisement, we are seeking several roles, and here follows a brief description of what the positions entail.

As an F-3 teacher at Österfärnebo school, you will teach students in preschool and grade 1, working to lay the foundation for students' knowledge development, curiosity, and social security. You will teach several subjects and differentiate instruction so that all students receive support and challenges at their level. Mentorship is included in the position.

In the role of wood and metal crafts teacher, you will lead creative and practical work processes where students can explore materials, techniques, and design. You will guide and support students throughout the entire creative process and be responsible for a safe and secure working environment.

As a special education teacher, you will work with targeted support for students at both individual and group levels. The assignment includes close collaboration with teaching staff and student health services to find methods that create good conditions for students' learning.

As a leisure teacher/substitute teacher, you will combine work in the leisure center with assignments as a substitute in the school. You will replace regular teachers during their absence, which means that tasks may vary from day to day within the school's various activities. Afternoons are allocated to the leisure center. The employment is temporary during the school year 26/27.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, you need to have good pedagogical insight and understand how students absorb knowledge in different ways. You have an easy time creating trusting relationships and contribute to a safe and accessible learning environment. Sensitivity and the ability to collaborate are important qualities in collegial work, where teaching is developed together. A structured approach facilitates planning and follow-up, while flexibility allows you to handle changing needs and see opportunities in new situations. An inclusive approach permeates your work and creates good conditions for all students.

The following is required for the assignment:

• Teaching certification with relevant qualifications
• Special education teacher certification (applicable for special education position)
• Good knowledge of the governing documents of primary education
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Good IT skills and experience using digital tools are advantageous.
