The Employment Administration is responsible for the municipality's activities in adult education, labor market, and integration. Within the administration, about 150 employees work in a business that includes approximately 1,200 participants in labor market programs and projects, as well as about 3,000 students in the overall adult education. Läroviken is Sandviken municipality's unit for adult education. Läroviken is responsible for education in Swedish for immigrants, Lärvux, basic education, upper secondary education, vocational training, as well as further and post-secondary education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach care courses and work with the practical and theoretical parts of the education. You will be part of an engaged subject team with high competence and experience in the field. You will meet students from many different cultures and life phases.

The work involves planning, teaching, follow-up, assessment, and grading. We expect you to be pedagogically skilled and able to adapt and individualize teaching according to students' different needs. Adult education works individually tailored, and teaching is conducted in several different ways, including distance and on-site education.

You should be prepared for the business to change and that flexibility is of great importance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed upper secondary school teacher for courses in care and welfare.

The role requires flexibility and the ability to see opportunities in changes, as well as good collaboration skills and a responsive, professional approach are important.

You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, and security in social and professional contexts is a prerequisite. Pedagogical insight and the ability to adapt teaching to different needs and conditions are a requirement.

It is meritorious if you have experience teaching both remotely and on-site.
