Hälsinglands Utbildningsförbund is a municipal federation formed by the municipalities of Bollnäs and Söderhamn, tasked with meeting students' demand for education with breadth and quality.

The federation's work is characterized by being a driving force for growth, a broker of education, and a meeting place for development. We offer upper secondary and adult education for the municipalities' residents, as well as opportunities for higher vocational education and distance studies at universities. We also provide commissioned training for companies and organizations, along with opportunities for research and development.

Job Responsibilities

The position is linked to Torsbergsgymnasiet, where you will work alongside our other study and career counselor.

You will work for and with students and staff in our various programs, both vocational and college preparatory. Your tasks are many and include motivating and guiding student conversations. Additionally, you will conduct guidance conversations in the classroom, informational meetings with guardians at parent meetings, and in individual discussions. You will be part of the school's student health team, whose goal is to develop proactive and preventive student health work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in study and career counseling as a priority. Experience working as a study and career counselor in upper secondary schools is an advantage. You have a good understanding of the importance of the study and career counselor's work and want to drive and develop this work at the school for the benefit of each student. We appreciate if you are attentive, want to create team spirit, can take initiative, and have an easy time collaborating with both school staff and external contacts.
