Description

Gärdeåsskolan is a primary school in Ljusdal with approximately 150 students from preschool class to grade 6.

The school consists of three teams: After-school care, grades 4-6, and F-3. Gärdeåsskolan systematically works with early interventions and has an ongoing collaboration with local preschools.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a class teacher in grade 1 within an engaged and collaborative team F–3. You will be responsible for most of the teaching in your class, but planning is done collectively within the team, which includes class teachers, special education teachers, and SVA teachers. Together, you create equitable teaching with the student in focus.

You will plan the teaching based on the curriculum, share materials and ideas, and make collective assessments of the students' knowledge in consultation with each other. In the team, collegial learning, good communication, and a strong focus on each student's development are valued.

Qualifications

Licensed teacher for younger ages F-3 with qualifications in Swedish, English, Mathematics, as well as SO and NO.

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to collaborate, a positive attitude, and the ability to develop the activities and see opportunities. The ability and willingness to collaborate with after-school care and other colleagues in the team is of utmost importance.
