In addition, you will be part of a structured administrative common value foundation work and you will work in a reasonably sized municipality where you are involved in decision-making.

Fäbogården and Smultronbacken preschools are part of the Western preschool area and are located in the Vallhov district. The preschools have space for 76 children aged 1-5 years, distributed over four departments. The preschools work thematically, and right now they are discovering and exploring a children's book together with the children. In Sandviken's preschools, we work with AAC (pictures and signs as support), as a natural part of communication between children and educators.

The preschool collaborates with a special educator and a quality coordinator. We offer you work in an organization where the teams are given the trust to work independently towards set goals and you have a close collaboration with the deputy principal with short decision-making paths.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for 3 preschool teachers.

A little better every day! In daily work, pedagogical documentation and reflection are a natural part, to systematically ensure the quality of education. You start from the children's interests, curiosity, and initiatives and translate that into goal-oriented processes where the children take the lead.

Have fun along the way! The children's influence and participation play a central role in the work, which means that you, together with the children and colleagues, plan, reflect, and analyze learning processes, working methods, and approaches. You have a commitment to making education fun and safe while challenging the competent children in their learning.

We make each other better! You contribute to a good working climate in the preschool and you will, together with experienced preschool teachers and childcare workers, be responsible for ensuring that the children have a fun, safe, and educational time at preschool. We think it is important to have a good approach towards both children/guardians/work colleagues and continuously work with the value foundation to maintain a good working climate with us.

QUALIFICATIONS

Do you find this interesting? We are looking for someone who recognizes themselves in the following description:

• You have a preschool teacher degree and preschool teacher certification. If you are newly graduated, we will plan an introduction period for you.
• You are confident in your leadership with both children and colleagues, creating accessible learning environments with a focus on clear pedagogy.
• You have the ability to start from each child's needs and conditions.
• You are interested in actively participating in the children's play and discovery joy.
• You are flexible, positive, and have a great commitment.
• You have a positive approach in meetings with people.
• You are initiative-taking but still humble as a person.
• You find it easy to collaborate with children, colleagues, and guardians.
• You are well acquainted with the preschool's governing documents and have good knowledge of pedagogical documentation and use computers and tablets as pedagogical tools in daily work.

It is meritorious if:

• You have experience working with younger children
• You have experience with AAC and GAKK
• You have experience with children in need of special support
• You have special educational knowledge

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and your experience.
