Description

Are you an engaged and confident educator who is passionate about creating a stimulating learning environment for middle school students? We are currently seeking a teacher for Gärdeåsskolan for grades 4-6.

In this role, you will be a mentor/class teacher with classroom instruction at the middle school level, working closely with experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

The position involves teaching both in full classes at the middle school level where you work closely with colleagues in a collaborative work team. You will be part of the team for grades 4-6, and together you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the instruction. The position also includes mentorship.

We are looking for someone who is calm and structured, resilient under stress, and ready to take on varied tasks. You have the ability to prioritize, are solution-focused, take initiative, are accustomed to overviewing and addressing what needs to be done, and always work with the students' best interests in mind. We value good collaboration skills and a positive attitude. You have a genuine interest in students' development and learning, see opportunities, are flexible, and are willing to try new methods.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with qualifications in math, Swedish, English, as well as social studies and natural sciences for grades 4-6.

Experience in pedagogical work is an advantage.
