Preschool Orion is located in the heart of Andersberg, in close proximity to both a library and exciting forests and a cool playground. The preschool has space for 91 children and is currently divided into 4 departments. We experience great satisfaction among children and their guardians and have had a high level of continuity among the staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a qualified, pedagogical, and engaged preschool teacher who is used to taking on significant responsibility? Great, then this temporary position might be for you! Together with your colleagues in the work team, you as a preschool teacher will have primary responsibility for the education at the preschool. Your work includes planning, implementation, documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of the operations according to established goals and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a preschool teacher degree and preschool teacher certification with the authority to teach in preschool and preschool class. Alternatively, ongoing education in the preschool teacher program, with graduation in January 2026. You should also be well acquainted with the preschool curriculum, systematic quality work, and other governing documents used in preschool operations. Furthermore, good linguistic and communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. Experience with various digital tools is also important, as we place great emphasis on documentation.

It is advantageous for this position if you have knowledge and experience working with children in need of special support and experience with AAC and TPC. We work a lot with this at our preschool. Experience working in a multicultural preschool is also a merit.

As a preschool teacher at Orion Preschool, you should have the ability to see what needs to be prioritized, be efficient, and use resources so that everyone in your team can succeed in their various roles. You take your own initiatives, are courageous, and have the ability to separate issues from individuals, as well as being structured and planning your work well. You have the ability to lead and motivate children so that they feel comfortable and well at preschool. You have an unpretentious approach in your collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians, making them feel a sense of belonging and inclusion.
