Gullhedskolan is a F-6 school with an after-school program and currently has just over 230 students. The school is located in the center of Järbo and is close to the library, the forest, football field, and hockey rink. The school focuses on the importance of movement and has a nice schoolyard that encourages movement. There are several different types of movement tracks and planned recess activities led by the school's educators.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for two teaching assistants for Gullhedskolan at 100%.

As a teaching assistant, you will work together with leisure teachers, preschool teachers, and teachers. Together, you will plan and implement recess activities, value-based work aimed at creating safety, and work directed towards students in class and in after-school care.

The position includes planning and implementing activities related to the curriculum together with colleagues, as well as continuously following up on the work that has been done.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who recognizes themselves in the following:

• You have a leisure teacher degree with teaching certification or equivalent education
• You are well acquainted with the school's and after-school program's assignments and governing documents.
• You have the ability to meet and start from each student's needs and conditions.
• You are a clear leader and an adult role model.
• You find it easy to collaborate, build relationships, and be clear in dialogue with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• You contribute positively and creatively and see opportunities in new challenges.
• You have good digital competence.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability and your experience.
