We are looking for a dedicated and experienced personal assistant for a 53-year-old man living with ALS. He lives with his wife, children, and a cat in a villa in Gävle. The client speaks for himself. He is interested in sports, outdoor activities, and gardening. We are now looking for a personal assistant who can be part of the family's daily life and contribute to a safe and active environment.

ABOUT THE JOB:

The job involves supporting the client in his daily life. As the client's personal assistant, your tasks will include transfers, personal care, household chores, cooking, and assisting with daily activities both inside and outside the home. You will also accompany the family and children's activities, which makes it important that you are flexible and comfortable in social settings.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

You need to be attentive to the client's wishes and have the ability and willingness to adapt to them. We are looking for someone who is responsible and meticulous. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

In addition to this, there are some requirements to work with this client. These are:

• Several years of experience in personal assistance or another equivalent profession in healthcare

• Sufficient physical capacity to handle an active job

• The ability to work in a family environment

• You must speak Swedish fluently in communication and understanding

• Good communication skills

• Be 30 years or older and can match the maturity and experience required for the role

• Have a B driver's license

• Be an animal lover and comfortable with a cat in the home

• Be flexible and able to adapt to the client's and family's daily life

WORKING HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT DEGREE:

For the right person, we will be able to offer a part-time schedule after a period as a substitute. We are also looking for those who are not interested in a fixed schedule but want to step in as needed.

Working hours:

Weekdays 08:00 - 18:00 Weekends 10:00 - 16:00
