Social Worker/Psychiatric Nurse for the Child and Adolescent Team

At the eating disorder unit, we have an adult team and a child and adolescent team. Our team consists of social workers, psychiatric nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, doctors, and medical secretaries.

We are now looking for a social worker/psychiatric nurse for a temporary position in the child and adolescent team. Welcome with your application!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker/psychiatric nurse with us, you will work both in teams and individually on treatment cases. Your main tasks will involve psychotherapeutic treatment of children and adolescents with eating disorders and their families. As a specialist in social work, you are also expected to contribute knowledge regarding coordination, establishing SIP (coordinated individual plan), collaboration with social services, and current legislation. You are expected to be part of the development work of the organization and contribute to creating a good working climate.

As a social worker/psychiatric nurse, you will work with:

• therapeutic work with children and families
• assessments, both planned and urgent
• group activities based on our care programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills who is engaged and attentive in meetings with others. You have an open and accepting attitude, value collaboration, and utilize others' competencies while being aware of your own strengths and areas for development. You are meticulous and have a structured approach to work with an eye for detail. Personal suitability is of great importance.

In the role of social worker/psychiatric nurse, you should be:

• an educated social worker, psychiatric nurse, or have another education that the employer deems relevant for the position.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have step 1 CBT training and experience in therapeutic work with children, adolescents, and families with eating disorders.
