The Coordination Unit is now looking for a Personal Ombudsman

The unit belongs to the municipality's area of operations Support and Care.

Your Assignment

The personal ombudsman is part of the support and care organization and is aimed at individuals with extensive and long-term mental disabilities who need a coordinator to safeguard their rights in society on equal terms. As a personal ombudsman, you represent the individual without assistance from authorities. You will formulate your assignment together with the individual based on their needs for care, support, rehabilitation, or employment.

Qualifications

You have at least a high school diploma, good computer skills, and a valid B driver's license. You should be familiar with the community's support, care, and service offerings and knowledgeable about relevant legislation.

Meritorious

Higher education with a relevant focus for the job or equivalent that the employer deems comparable. It is also an advantage if you have previously worked with similar tasks.

Personal Qualities

It is important that you have experience with individuals suffering from mental health issues and a genuine interest and commitment to people in vulnerable situations. You have an empathetic approach and good interpersonal skills, enjoy working independently, and are also skilled at collaborating with others while having a strong ability to balance closeness and distance in your work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
