About the position

We are now looking for social pedagogues/therapeutic pedagogues for summer jobs.

The position as a social pedagogue/therapeutic pedagogue involves relationship-building work with our clients.

As a social pedagogue/therapeutic pedagogue, you will primarily work with: 

- Daily tasks such as meal routines and cleaning 

- Assisting in investigation work and treatment interventions  

- Documentation work  

- Contact with social services and other authorities 

- Activities with youth

About us

We receive youth with norm-breaking behavior and neuropsychiatric diagnoses. We have a high staff density to manage challenging placements. The treatment home Rasmus is located in a quiet and pleasant residential area in Bollnäs. We accept youth from the age of 13 up to 17 years at the time of admission, with the possibility to stay until the age of 18. The diagnoses of the youth often cause behavioral problems, which may manifest as lack of concentration, lack of perception, lack of endurance, lack of empathetic ability, and stress sensitivity. We accept placements according to SoL and LVU.

Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, relationship-building, flexible, and secure. In this role, it is important that you show great empathy while also having the ability to set boundaries when necessary. The work involves close and trusting collaboration with your colleagues, so you must have good communication and cooperation skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To apply for the position, you must have:  

- A 2-year YH vocational degree as a social or therapeutic pedagogue

- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing  

- Good system familiarity as documentation is extensive  

- A valid driver's license (B) 

It is an advantage if you have: 

- Previous experience in similar work 

- Knowledge of neuropsychiatric diagnoses

- Training and experience in low-arousal approaches
