Do you want to make a real difference in people's daily lives – while working in a professional and developing environment? We are now looking for experienced personal assistants with knowledge of autism for several of our clients in the area.

We have several clients with similar needs where structure, clear communication, and understanding of autism are crucial for creating a safe and functioning daily life. Therefore, we are looking for someone who already has experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and feels confident in the role of a personal assistant.

As a personal assistant, you work closely with the client in their daily life and provide support based on individual needs. The work may involve everything from creating structure in the day to accompanying on activities, communicating clearly, and contributing to a calm and predictable environment.

• Has documented experience working with autism

• Is calm, structured, and clear in your communication

• Has a good ability to create security and predictability

• Is responsible, flexible, and professional in your interactions

• Preferably has experience in personal assistance or similar care work

It is an advantage if you have long experience and a genuine interest in working with individuals with autism.

All new assistants start as temporary substitutes for our clients. For the right person, there are good opportunities with some clients to eventually receive a schedule or permanent-like arrangement.

Due to the nature of the job, which may involve working alone, night shifts, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant with us.

OP Assistans offers safe and respectful personal assistance. We build close and long-term relationships as a smaller company, while also having the security and resources from our larger group, Team Olivia. Many of our managers have personal experience as personal assistants, which provides a deep understanding of the profession. We follow the collective agreement between Kommunal/Vårdföretagarna.
