Social Worker for Adult Unit and LSS

The Adult Unit and LSS form a workgroup organized into two teams: ten employees in the adult unit and nine in LSS.

Each team is led by a team leader. The workplace is centrally located in Hudiksvall, close to shops, restaurants, and good transportation links.

Due to the introduction of a new social services act, the Social and Care Administration has undergone an organizational change. The aim is to create a more target group-oriented structure that provides better conditions for effective and qualitative work. The adaptation to the new social services act is ongoing and is both developing and stimulating.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for social workers for our team that works with adults who have dependency issues as well as individuals who are victims of violence. As a social worker, you have a supervisory responsibility that involves investigating, making decisions, and following up on interventions. You work according to the applicable legislation SoL, LVM, and LVU. The tasks are varied, and you also work in a motivational and outreach manner. Practical tasks are included. The work requires good collaboration with other units within the administration and with external actors.

Your Profile

Degree in social work or equivalent education. You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You take responsibility for your tasks, plan, structure, and drive your cases forward. You work towards goals and focus on results. Furthermore, you contribute to the development of the work and have a holistic perspective. You work well with others and communicate clearly. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy cooperating with other professionals, always with the individual in focus. We continuously work to develop the operations, and the person we are looking for should be involved and contribute to development and feel engaged in the change work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A driver's license with driving experience is required.
