Assignment in brief A 19-year-old girl described as both mischievous and cheerful. Her days are filled with contrasts: one moment it is full speed, and the next moment it requires recovery and a quiet day at home.

As an assistant, you are her extended arms and red thread. You support her in everyday tasks such as shopping and household chores, but your most important task is to be the safe point that interprets her needs.

Your role and profile To thrive in this role, we see that you are a person who naturally makes contact. Your relationship depends a lot on your ability to build trust over time.

• Communication is key: In this role, you will actively work with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). Experience in this is an advantage but not a requirement. We place great importance on your ability to read body language and your willingness to learn the client's unique way of expressing herself.

• Low-affect focus: A central part of the job is to focus on low-affect responses. You are expected to work safely and methodically to create a calm environment and be there as a stable point.

• Varied tasks: You are comfortable with having a busy day with the activities the client desires and needs, and other days spent at home in peace without activities.

What we look at the most is personal suitability and that the chemistry between you and our client works well. You need to be smoke-free, speak fluent Swedish, and be comfortable with round-the-clock shifts (including waiting time).

We see it as an advantage: - Experience with autism, Down syndrome, or low-affect responses - Knowledge of TAKK/picture support - Driver's license and own car

About the position We are primarily looking for a flexible hourly substitute who can cover as needed. However, there are good opportunities for the right person to be offered a permanent schedule in the future.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant with us.

We build close and long-term relationships as a smaller company, but at the same time have the security and resources from our larger group, Team Olivia. Many of our managers have personal experience as personal assistants, which gives a deep understanding of the profession. We follow the collective agreement between Kommunal/Care Companies.
