Viraliv is now looking for an experienced social worker for assignments in public authority operations in Sandviken during the summer of 2026 – with a good opportunity for extension.

Assignment period

• Start: June 1, 2026
• End: August 31, 2026
• Extension: Monthly extension possible until December 31, 2026

You need to be able to work the entire period, including weeks 29–31 (high summer).

Scope & working hours

• Full-time (100%) – 40 hours/week
• Working hours: 08:00–17:00 (flexible hours 06:00–22:00)
• 1 hour lunch break
• Overtime may occur
• Travel in the job may occur

📍 Location: Sandviken (work primarily on-site)

💻 Remote work: up to 2 days/week by agreement

About the assignment

You will work within the investigation unit for children and young people (0–20 years) with a focus on public authority operations according to SoL.

Job responsibilities include:

• Processing and investigating child and youth cases
• Assessment and decision-making regarding interventions
• Follow-up of outpatient interventions
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Work according to BBIC and Signs of Safety

You will work in an experienced team with support from specialist social workers and the unit manager.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a degree in social work
• Has several years of experience in public authority operations for children and young people
• Is confident in the entire processing process
• Has good knowledge of BBIC
• Has experience with or is positive towards Signs of Safety
• Has a strong commitment to children in vulnerable situations
