As a social worker in the adult investigation unit, you will have the opportunity to contribute to important and meaningful social work. We are a leading unit, and as the first municipality in the country, we introduced a mobile motivation team in 2019, which means that social workers and therapists work closely together in everyday tasks for the benefit of the residents.

We are 33 employees distributed among unit manager, senior social worker, specialist administrators, social workers, HVB coordinators, therapists/guides, and administrators. The unit works with the target group of adults over 18 years old with harmful use or dependency, individuals in need of protection or interventions related to threats of violence (not VINR), dropouts, and other social issues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks include:

• Handling cases, assessing needs, making decisions, and following up on granted interventions according to the Social Services Act.
• Working together with the individual and in collaboration with colleagues and care providers to drive the care process forward.
• Assessing needs and following up on care according to LVU and LVM.
• Pre-assessing incoming reports of concern in ongoing cases.
• Other common tasks for the unit.

As a social worker in the adult investigation unit, you will work closely with your colleagues in the unit and in close collaboration with the municipality's own interventions and external care providers.

We are divided into teams that allow you to specialize in certain areas while also benefiting from the broad expertise available in the unit. We offer close leadership and have structured forums for support and guidance, decision-making, and peer supervision.

You will be assigned a mentor and participate in our onboarding program.

You are an important part of the development work that is ongoing based on the New Social Services Act.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal competencies:

• Degree in social work.
• Driver's license (B).
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience working with authority exercises under the Social Services Act.
• Previous experience in social work.
