Are you an engaged, attentive, smoke-free, and adaptable man or woman who enjoys working methodically and structured? Then you might be exactly who we need for a very important job, namely as a personal assistant to a 28-year-old guy with autism, intellectual disabilities, and epilepsy who enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and going for walks.

As a personal assistant to him, the work will be based on his daily needs, providing support and motivation for personal care, initiation, and assistance in daily life, with leisure activities, as well as various chores at home such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping. He uses visual schedules, communication boards, and apps as aids.

• You should be meticulous and able to work according to established routines.

• You need to be patient and pedagogical in your approach.

• Willing to work with Alternative and Augmentative Communication.

• You should have good collaboration skills.

• Clear Swedish in speech and writing.

• You should have basic computer skills.

• You should be able to work at both high and low pace without becoming stressed.

• Smoke-free.

• Have a B driver's license for manual transmission.

• You should be able to work around the clock (weekdays and weekends, night shifts).

Previous experience in personal assistance is not a requirement, but a significant plus. Your personal qualities and the chemistry between you as an assistant and the user are what matters most.
