Engaged Informant Wanted for Health Square

Health Square is located at Gävle Hospital, Tullhuset Gävle, Hudiksvall Hospital, Bollnäs Hospital, and Söderhamn's Local Hospital. At Health Square, there are informants who provide visitors with a welcoming reception, guidance, simple advice, and help them find information about various diseases and diagnoses. In addition, some technical support for the digital healthcare service Min Vård Gävleborg is included. Health Square also has health educators who work with prevention and changes in lifestyle habits, as well as care guides who provide information about care guarantees, waiting times in healthcare, and rights and regulations.

We are now looking for an engaged employee for on-call employment as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of informant, your most important task is to receive our visitors, answer their questions, and refer them further if necessary. The role also includes some patient support for Min Vård Gävleborg. You will be answering many different types of questions where it is important to give that little extra to ensure the visitor has a good experience of the meeting or phone contact. The work involves significant personal responsibility, where you will primarily work at the information desk in the hospital entrance but also in the digital support for Min Vård Gävleborg.

Your main tasks

• referring patients and providing practical help to find their way around the hospital area.

Working hours are scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

Your ability to combine empathy, service, and responsibility is crucial for building trust.

In the role of informant, you should

• have at least a high school diploma
• have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

In this position, it is advantageous if you have experience working in healthcare or have experience in information or service work where you have had direct contact with people.
