We are now looking for an experienced social worker in child and youth services with a focus on placements for an assignment in a municipality in Gävleborg County.

• Assess the needs of children and young people according to BBIC
• Handle and follow up on measures related to placements
• Work independently on cases according to SoL and LVU
• Collaborate with children, guardians, foster homes, and networks
• Work closely with other professionals around the child

✅ We are looking for you who

Must-have requirements

• Have a degree in social work
• Have at least 5 years of experience as a social worker in child and youth services
• Have experience in authority exercise according to SoL and LVU
• Have good knowledge of BBIC and strong documentation skills
• Have experience working independently on LVU cases

Meritorious

• Experience working according to Signs of Safety
• Familiarity with the Treserva management system or similar systems

📍 Scope

The assignment covers 60% of full-time. The work is performed on-site at the client in a municipality in Gävleborg County.

📅 Assignment period

2026-02-09 to 2026-06-08

Possibility of extension exists, up to 2026-12-08.
