About the role We are now looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist who wants to take clear ownership of our accounts payable process. The role combines ongoing operational work in accounts payable with responsibility for developing and improving work methods, system support, and collaboration with the business.

This is a role for you who thrives close to the daily flow but also wants to take responsibility for the whole and ensure that the process works stably even when the organization, systems, and work methods change.

The role has a clear mandate to drive work methods and improvements without formal personnel responsibility.

Your main responsibilities In this role, you will work continuously and operationally with accounts payable while having overall responsibility for the entire accounts payable process. This means you will handle supplier invoices from receipt to payment and accounting, ensuring high quality in coding, approvals, and payment documentation. You will be responsible for daily priorities and an efficient working method in the area, as well as developing, documenting, and following up on routines, standard codings, and processes.

An important part of the role is to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in both processes and systems, with the goal of increasing efficiency and quality. You will collaborate closely with both the accounting function and the business on issues related to invoice flow, responsibilities, and working methods, and also participate in closing work and related reconciliations. The role also involves actively contributing to increased automation and a more efficient use of the company's system support.

Who we are looking for We are looking for someone with several years of experience working with accounts payable in a complex organization and who is confident in the entire accounts payable process.

You have:

•          a good understanding of the relationship between AP, bank, and general ledger

•         experience working in ERP and invoice management systems, such as Medius, Pyramid, SAP, or equivalent

•       the ability to work systematically even in periods of high tempo

•        experience in driving improvements and working in change

• As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and confident in your skills. You dare to set boundaries, enjoy creating order, and thrive in a role where you both work operationally and improve work methods over time.
