We are now looking for an Automation Engineer for our client.

About the assignment

An assignment for you who want to work in a production-oriented environment and contribute to our client's modernization and development of advanced control systems. You will be part of a larger technical team where automation solutions are central to efficient and safe operations. The role suits you who thrive in an industrial environment, want to follow systems from idea to operational solution, and appreciate close collaboration with operations, maintenance, and projects.

• Work with the development, optimization, and maintenance of automation systems for machines and production lines • Design, program, and document control systems in Siemens and Proview and contribute to the standardization of solutions • Participate in commissioning and testing of new and upgraded systems with a focus on safe functionality and stable production • Collaborate with the mechanics, electrical, and operations organization to solve technical issues and ensure that improvements are implemented in a structured manner • Provide technical support to operations and maintenance and contribute to risk assessments and orders related to work orders and projects

Requirements • Mid-senior experience as an automation engineer or system designer • Programming in Siemens PLC (Ladder, S7) • Experience with TIA Portal and function blocks in Proview • Electrical safety training and CPR must be completed before start • Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English

Meritorious • Experience with cranes and hoists in a Siemens environment • Knowledge of industrial safety control systems such as PLUTO • Experience with C++ and/or manufacturing industry
