About the role

As a Junior IT Onsite Support specialist, you will be a vital part of the team ensuring that the client's users receive fast and efficient technical assistance directly on-site at the industrial facilities. You will work closely with end-users to resolve IT-related issues and contribute to smooth IT operations. This involves handling a variety of IT matters that may arise in an industrial setting, from troubleshooting to installation. Your tasks will include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting networks/printers, and hardware configuration. The role involves providing support at two industrial sites located in Köping and Flen.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting networks and printers
  • Preventive maintenance in an industrial environment
  • Hardware configuration (PCs/mobile devices)
  • General onsite support regarding IT issues that may arise in an industrial setting

We are looking for someone who

  • Has good knowledge of Office 365
  • Has good knowledge of Windows 7/10/11
  • Has good knowledge of Active Directory
  • Has experience with hardware management and basic knowledge of network and VPN troubleshooting
  • Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as this is required for the performance of duties
  • Hold a valid B-driver's license to facilitate travel between Köping and Flen

It is an advantage if you have

  • A post-secondary education in IT/networking
  • Certification in CompTIA and/or ITIL
