Business-Oriented System Administrator for the Finance Department

About Us
Region Sörmland is responsible for areas that are important to everyone who lives, works, and operates in Sörmland. The region must ensure that the inhabitants of Sörmland have access to equal high-quality healthcare and dental care, a well-functioning public transport system, a rich cultural offering, and a good environment.
The Finance Department owns, operates, coordinates, develops, administers, and anchors the region's overarching economic processes and economic tools.
The Accounting Unit consists of 29 employees. The assignment covers the handling of customer and supplier ledgers, payments, and other processes related to ongoing accounting.
As a system administrator, you have a business-oriented role within the Accounting Unit, where you contribute specialist competence in accounting. The work is carried out in close cooperation with the region's IT operations (RSIT) as well as other operations within the region to ensure efficient and appropriate system support. Your place of work is Eskilstuna.
Your Responsibilities
As a business-oriented system administrator at the Accounting Unit, you will primarily work with:
- Providing user support and administering the systems that support the region's economic processes
- Handling support, troubleshooting, and error cases
- Training users as needed
- Administering code element registers
- Managing permissions in the systems
- Performing register maintenance and ensuring data quality
- Creating and updating documentation for systems and processes
- Participating in or driving development work for functions, improvements, and integrations based on your specialist competence in accounting
The position is varied and involves working both independently and in close cooperation with colleagues. You will become part of our system administration team, which consists of five people working closely with the region's IT department and other operations. Region Sörmland uses a PM3-based model for system administration, meaning the work is driven by the needs of the business.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- A relevant degree from a university education in economics or equivalent
- Several years of current experience in the field of economics and accounting
- Good knowledge of the Office package
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience in system administration
- Experience with Proceedo and Raindance or similar systems in public operations
- Experience in participating in or leading development and implementation projects

Employment Type
Permanent employment with start date as agreed. There is an opportunity to work from home to some extent.
