The Swedish Fortification Administration is looking for an Information Security Coordinator. Your daily life as an Information Security Coordinator
As an Information Security Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to shape working methods, develop security capabilities, and contribute to the agency being stronger in the face of future security challenges.
As an Information Security Coordinator, you work with developing and coordinating information security work within the Information Security Group at the Security Protection Unit on the Security Department.
You are part of a team and play a central role in participating in the further development of the agency's systematic information security work and contributing to translating security requirements into practice. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the operations, the IT department, and other functions within the agency.
The role is characterized by a solution-oriented and operationally close working method, focusing on contributing to the development of methods, processes, and working practices that strengthen the agency's overall information security capability. You will work with complex information security issues related to AI, IT, and OT environments and contribute to creating sustainable solutions for an organization with high security requirements.
The role involves taking responsibility for development within the information security area and contributing to the agency being better equipped for today's and future security challenges.
The role includes developing and improving guidelines, routines, methods, and working practices, as well as contributing to integrating information security requirements into the agency's processes, projects, and maintenance work.
You work with analyzing security needs, preparing materials, and supporting operations related to IT and OT environments as well as AI issues. The work also covers handling security incidents, analyses, investigations, control measures, and follow-up within the information security area.
An important part of the role is to contribute to educational efforts and strengthen the information security culture within the agency. The role also involves participating in collaboration, networks, consultation work, and horizon scanning within the information security area.
Travel for work purposes occurs and is schedulable.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in information security, IT security, systems science, or another related area, or equivalent competence acquired through professional experience. You have several years of experience in information security work and are accustomed to developing, coordinating, and further developing information security or cyber security work in larger organizations.
It is a requirement that you have a good understanding of security requirements in IT and OT environments, as well as knowledge of AI related to information security, including its opportunities and challenges. You have experience in translating security requirements, risk assessments, and regulations into practically feasible solutions in technical and operationally critical environments.
You also have an understanding of standards within the information security area and can put these into practice. You have experience with information security analyses, incident management, and preparing recommendations and decision support materials within information security.
It is an advantage if you have experience in developing governing documents, processes, and working practices within the information security area. It is also an advantage if you have experience in security protection work, accreditation of information systems, and supplier follow-up, as well as experience working in the defense sector or other security-sensitive operations.

About the employment
The position is a permanent employment and will begin with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be assigned to wartime duties. The location is Eskilstuna. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security clearance with registry check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
