About Us

Region Sörmland is one of the largest employers in the county with approximately 10,000 employees. Within Region Sörmland IT (RSIT), we are about 150 employees driving digitalization and delivering IT services to the entire organization.

We are looking for an IT Architect / Solution Architect who wants to contribute to developing a cohesive and sustainable architecture.

In this role, you will work closely with both business operations and IT, helping to develop the region's architecture, principles, and ways of working. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence the development of future digital solutions in close collaboration with competent colleagues.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop solution proposals and overall design for new and existing systems
• Identify and manage dependencies between systems, integrations, and information flows
• Collaborate with business, developers, and other roles regarding requirements and solutions
• Ensure that solutions follow architecture principles, guidelines, and standards
• Document solutions and structures clearly and appropriately
• Contribute to the development, standardization, and improvement of the IT landscape

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience or a strong interest in working with IT solutions in complex environments. You have the ability to see the big picture and can translate business needs and goals into well-functioning, sustainable, and long-term solutions. You have relevant education in IT, system science, or equivalent.

You may currently work in a role such as IT Architect, System Administrator, Software Developer, Technical Specialist, IT Project Manager, or similar, where you have been involved in developing and creating solutions within digitalization and IT.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Experience working with IT architecture or related work
• Experience working in organizations with complex IT landscapes
• Good understanding of system integrations and technical dependencies
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Preferred Qualifications

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Work in the public sector
• Solution design or architecture work in larger organizations
