IKEA Purchasing Development is part of IKEA Supply and responsible to secure that the product offer is produced. We lead a global supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas and different business units. Following the Supply Strategy, we combine leading with lowest cost, design for responsiveness and to rethink resources into tactical and operational plans.
Category Area Food is one of the most recently established category areas in Purchasing Development, being in a transformation & build-up journey taking over purchasing of Food from the IKEA retail organization. The objective is to optimize the business model for best quality, low price and availability. The transformation & build-up entails a combination of establishing new capabilities along with driving efficiency for a strong business performance with fact-based analysis and planning as a foundation.
In Business Navigation we lead and develop business performance management capabilities, as an enabler and close partner to the business stakeholders. Beside the foundation of a navigation assignment, we together with our business stakeholders proactively plan for the best outcome and do continuous follow-up of the strategic agenda.
We are now looking for a new Business Navigator to join our exciting Food journey. In the role you will report to Tobias Christensen, Business Navigation Manager.
Job Description
As Business Navigator you will lead and be an enabler for business performance management framework for CA Food and the translation of business plans into goals, steering towards a balanced totality. As well as secure relevant performance reporting and follow-up, lead fact-based decision making and actively work to increase the overall business performance understanding. We want business navigation to be seen as an enabler for the business by collaborate close to the business teams, making data available and visualized, create analyses, recommendations and conclusions by providing insights that makes impacts of the business.
Together with other Business Navigation colleagues you will lead and contribute to assignment/projects in a global context.
In your role you will also
· Being responsible for communicate and visualize business results, action plan result, goal achievement and deviations in a structured, clear and simple way.
· Enable business performance development by create analyses, recommendations and providing insights
· Have a holistic view and working integrated with our business teams (CM/BDM’s) and stakeholders (IFSAG, RA Food etc) across the globe in a collaborative way
· Responsible for developing, establishing and improving our digital tools and processes in CA Food and acting as gatekeeper ensuring order and structure.
· Act as a strong enabler with high motivation with a challenging approach, sharing your opinions that will cater for development of the business.
· Together with your team colleagues create the future plan (Roadmap) for business navigation in CA Food.
Qualifications
We are looking for a self-driven person that has a strong and high motivation and enjoy working with a challenging approach, enjoy collaborate and build strong partnerships across functions, keeping the IKEA values with you at all times. You have a holistic view and can easily translating data into defined business objectives & insights and together with others, get things done! There is a strong analytical skillset together with a business understanding. You have an easy way of communicating and the ability to translate complex matters into something understandable and inspirational for others.

You have knowledge and experience within the following areas:
· Good business understanding & work experience
· Education in business, finance, analytics or similar
· Experience in leading and developing business and people in large international organizations
· Beneficial to have knowledge/experience from Food industry
· High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel, as well as experience from using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI
· You are fluent in written and verbal English.
