JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a coordinator for the Department of Disability Care. As a coordinator, you will be responsible for the implementation of services such as escorting, respite care, and support families within LSS. You will work independently in your role and have overall responsibility for receiving decisions, recruiting contractors, planning services, and managing the administrative tasks related to contracts, time reports, and personal expenses. You will maintain contact with the care recipient and possibly their parents or representatives and write implementation plans for all services. You will work closely with caseworkers and management.

You will also coordinate the overall work of two professional escorts who only perform assignments in this area. Here, you will be responsible for scheduling, planning activities, compiling times, and answering any questions that arise. The role also includes other administrative tasks such as orders, invoice management, and work in various systems.

There is only one coordinator in the organization, so we are looking for someone who is independent and enjoys taking on significant responsibility. However, you will work closely with the responsible unit manager, and we discuss many questions and challenges together. The organization is undergoing a transformation process, and we face challenges in becoming more digital and finding better workflows, so we are looking for someone who sees solutions and enjoys development and change.

Your workplace is in an open office landscape at Ljungadalsgatan 2A. Here, other professionals will be your colleagues, ensuring that the workday also includes laughter and meaningful conversations.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays, and you typically work from 8 AM to 5 PM, but some meetings may also take place in the evening.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in administrative work who is skilled at learning and managing different systems. You enjoy working independently and taking responsibility, and you ask for help when you need it. The role involves many social contacts, so we are looking for someone who is social, pleasant, and has an easy time meeting people.

It is desirable that you have previously worked in the field of disability care and have knowledge of the target group of individuals with autism, physical disabilities, and/or intellectual disabilities.

The position requires a B driver's license. The greatest emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
