The Labor Market Unit (AME) is an organization that offers a variety of opportunities. The unit consists of nine colleagues with different responsibilities as team leaders and coordinators. Our main purpose is to support individuals who are currently outside the labor market for various reasons towards self-sufficiency, education, or employment.

Organizationally, AME and financial assistance belong to the same section, and there is close collaboration between these services regarding the cases referred to AME via financial assistance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a coordinator at AME, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading the daily work at AME, as well as being an important link between AME and other actors. We work closely with other central actors such as the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and internal units within Ljungby Municipality, other municipalities in the county, as well as associations and businesses. We also have ongoing projects in collaboration with other municipalities in the county.

The organization offers a wide range of services. In addition to coaching, opportunities for work training, labor market employment, initiatives for youth, and various types of group activities are offered. An important part of the job is also to monitor the external environment and participate in networks in the field.

Your responsibilities include receiving participants for mapping and determining interventions. Together with the participant, you will create a plan and coach job seekers towards self-sufficiency and set goals.

Administrative tasks occur, such as documentation and responsibility for compiling statistics.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have relevant academic education, preferably with a focus on behavioral science, social work, or equivalent experience that we deem relevant for the position. Experience in labor market measures, projects, and good knowledge of other authorities is advantageous.

You enjoy working in a constantly changing environment, both independently and in teams. To thrive, you need to be structured, outgoing, persistent, and flexible to adapt to situations that require it. You have well-developed communication skills and are used to challenging and motivating others. Humility and the ability to listen are other qualities we value. Personal suitability is of particular importance.

A driver's license and good computer skills are required.
