Municipal Rehab is an independent unit consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, assistive technology technicians, assistive device assistants, alarm coordinators, and rehabilitation assistants. We are located at Högåsen's special housing in Alvesta, where the municipality's own assistive device operations and alarm organization are also situated.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a licensed occupational therapist, you will work together with other professionals in the team to achieve safe and secure care. You will work with home rehabilitation, discharge planning from inpatient care, and guidance of care staff.

You will conduct activity assessments, and based on the individual's needs, planning, implementation, and follow-up of interventions such as prescribing assistive devices, treatments, and training will take place. Patient work occurs in both regular and special housing.

In the role of occupational therapist, you are a good role model and participate in developing the operations according to applicable value bases and operational goals. As an occupational therapist in our team, you will be involved in the processes we work with in the transition to Close Care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with a few years of experience in the profession, but we also welcome new graduates to apply for the position. You have a rehabilitative perspective and can pedagogically guide individuals, relatives, and care staff in training, transfers, and other activities of significance for the individual in daily life. Collaboration and communication are strong suits for you, and we see that you contribute positive energy to your surroundings.

You share your competence with the team and contribute to everyone working towards the same goal. If you have previously specialized in the field, we see it as a positive and would like to take advantage of your experiences.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
