We are now looking for an Orthopedic Engineer or Orthopedic Technical Patient Receiver to TeamOlmed in Ljungby or Växjö. Through our agreement with Region Kronoberg, we provide orthopedic technical services to the residents of the county. At the clinic, we also run a retail operation aimed at the growing privately funded healthcare sector, where we offer shoes, insoles, and orthoses.

Your responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to receive and assist patients with assessment, prescription, adaptation, and delivery of orthopedic technical aids. Your primary focus will be on shoes and insoles, but depending on your education and experience, there is the opportunity to work with other aids such as orthoses. The work will be a mix of patient contact and practical adjustments of aids.

Who we are looking for

• Qualified orthopedic engineer or alternatively physiotherapist, podiatrist, foot care specialist, chiropractor, occupational therapist, or equivalent healthcare-related education
• Fluent in Swedish and good knowledge of English
• Good computer skills
• Driver's license B
• Experience working clinically with patients is an advantage

The position

Full-time, permanent. Start immediately or by agreement. Location Växjö or Ljungby, work in both locations may occur. TeamOlmed has a collective agreement.
