Primary care consists of 21 publicly run health centers, the 1177 healthcare guide, as well as family health and A Pathway for children and adolescents with mental health issues. The Health Center Centrum is a workplace in the heart of Växjö with over 9,000 registered patients. Here, the patient is at the center, and we always do our best to ensure that our patients receive high-quality care and feel secure and trusted through good interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a district nurse/nurse at a health center involves following patients throughout their lives. You meet patients of all ages and life situations; some we meet very rarely and others more regularly. We work from both a health-promoting and disease-preventive perspective, as well as addressing acute symptoms. As you can understand, the work at the health center is varied, enjoyable, and developmental!

The job responsibilities include reception work, consultations with patients via phone/video visits, and appointment booking via TeleQ. If you are interested, there are good opportunities to deepen your knowledge within some of our specialist clinics in the future based on your competence, experience, and interests.

As a district nurse/nurse within primary care, you also contribute your expertise at our emergency medical center in Växjö. We are here for our citizens on weekends and weekdays after 5 PM. Many of us share this responsibility, and if it becomes relevant for you, you will receive a special introduction to the emergency medical center to feel secure.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed district nurse or nurse. Being a licensed district nurse is an advantage.

It is natural for you to contribute to a good working atmosphere at the workplace, and you stand up for our common values, respect for individuals. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
