JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The vision of Centrumskolan is: "We educate world citizens who face the future with courage, firmly convinced that everything they want and can is possible." This vision permeates all work at the school. We work with a language-developing approach characterized by high expectations for all students but also by supportive/compensatory measures so that all students can develop in their learning as far as possible. The teaching is marked by an understanding of multilingualism and diversity.
As a qualified teacher in after-school care, you will help lead and develop the activities of the after-school program. Therefore, you need to enjoy developing and leading activities and have a curious approach to your role. The work with planning and evaluation in after-school care is done systematically based on curricula and the interests and needs of the students.
At Centrumskolan, you will work in teams, so we are looking for someone who is interested in participating, contributing, and developing through collegial learning. We see that you, as an applicant, will strengthen the work in the practical aesthetic subjects, so we would like you to have subject competence in music/art/crafts. The positions will focus on recess activities and reinforcement in the practical aesthetic subjects.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying have a degree/are a certified teacher in after-school care. As a teacher in after-school care, you work together with colleagues based on applicable governing documents towards the goals of the activities. You have the ability to engage children and young people to want to develop. You design activities that are varied and enjoyable. You are a clear leader who conveys warmth, security, and sees students' differences as an asset.
You believe it is important to build good relationships with both the students and their guardians. Collaboration with guardians is prioritized to ensure that students can develop as far as possible. You document students' development and keep students and guardians continuously informed.
We see that you can work independently but also collaborate with colleagues and school management to develop the activities.
