In August 2023, Prolympia opened a newly built sports school for grades 7-9 in Arenastaden. By combining sports and health with knowledge and security, we offer the best conditions for a successful school experience. The school is aimed at all sports-interested youth in grades 7-9 who have the opportunity to combine school with sports in the best possible location. The school operates in close collaboration with various sports associations in Växjö.

Now Prolympia Växjö is looking for a short-term substitute teacher for the languages Spanish, English, and French!

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a short-term substitute, you will teach languages. The relevant languages are Spanish, English, and French. Teaching will take place at the middle school level, and in your daily work, you will plan lessons, prepare classes, and document students' development. You actively work to stimulate all students to develop their knowledge and have the ability to adapt teaching to promote learning and good academic results. You will be part of a work team where you can exchange experiences, thoughts, and ideas daily that can improve your teaching and contribute to school development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is interested in working as needed in our operations. We prefer candidates who have an ongoing or completed teacher education but also welcome those with prior experience teaching any of the languages Spanish, English, and French. It is an advantage if you have experience and/or qualifications for more than one of the languages. A background check is required for employment, specifically for work in schools and preschools.
