The upper secondary school, VFG Växjö, offers the following programs and specializations:

Construction and Civil Engineering Program

- Construction Machinery Operator

- Earth and Civil Engineering Worker

Vehicle and Transport Program

- Heavy Vehicle and Mobile Machinery Mechanic

- Professional Driver, Bus and Truck

For the autumn term of 2025, we are looking for a vehicle teacher for the upper secondary school specializing in heavy vehicle mechanics.

We are looking for someone with professional experience in the automotive industry as an educator and vehicle mechanic.

It is a plus if you have pedagogical competence through education or experience.

It is advantageous if you are qualified as a vocational teacher with a teaching license in vehicle and transport, and have experience working with young people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

It is also beneficial if you have pedagogical competence through education and/or experience in our training areas, such as C-/CE licenses, forklift, wheel loader, crane, or similar.

The position entails that you, as a teacher, will plan, conduct, and document teaching in upper secondary school, both practically and theoretically.

We are looking for someone who is engaged and interested in both the students' knowledge development and their social development.

As a person, you are creative and flexible, have a positive attitude, and a sense of responsibility. You also have a good ability to inspire, engage, and motivate students to learn. It is important that you enjoy working in a team and find it easy to collaborate.
